Is it safe to upload my documents?
Yes. UtilVox uses end-to-end 256-bit SSL encryption. All thumbnail generation happens in your browser, and files are only temporarily processed for reconstruction before being immediately purged.
Can I reorder pages in password-protected PDFs?
Currently, you must remove the password protection before reordering. We are working on a secure way to handle encrypted files with user-provided keys.
Is there a page limit for the reorder tool?
Free users can reorder PDFs up to 200 pages. For larger documents, we recommend splitting them first or using our Pro tier (coming soon).
Will reordering affect the PDF quality?
No. Our engine copies the original internal page objects without re-compressing images or text, maintaining the exact quality of your source document.
Putting Pages Back in the Right Order
How pages end up shuffled
Out-of-order pages are rarely your fault — they come from how documents get captured and assembled:

Drag, drop, verify
Thumbnails make the fix visual: drag pages into place, delete the blanks, rotate strays, and scroll the preview once before downloading. The thumbnail check matters more than it seems — a reviewer who hits a misplaced page in a legal bundle or thesis often stops reading and sends the whole thing back.
Reordering vs. rebuilding
Reordering shuffles pages within one file. If the problem is pages spread across several files, merge them first, then reorder the combined result. To carry only some pages forward, the page extractor is more direct, and orientation fixes belong to rotate.
